Welcome to C.R.A.C

Welcome to our Appaloosa website!  We invite you to wander in, pull up your chair and make yourself at home! There's a "Spot" for everything!

The Calgary Regional Appaloosa Club is a society formed in 1997 to help promote the Appaloosa breed and to allow Appaloosa owners to have sociable and group enjoyment of the breed.

We are located in southern Alberta, in the city of Calgary. Our membership consists of people from all over Alberta, Saskatchewan and even from Australia!

CRAC (Calgary Regional Appaloosa Club) is an active and busy club. We participate, support and promote the Appaloosa in horse industry related events Provincially, Nationally and Internationally.

We are very active in trail riding, cattle drives, cattle penning and sortings. There are arranged trail rides throughout the year and there are fundays occasionally held at the GM Ranch near Rockyford for members.

We appear in the Airdrie and Stampede Parades every year, plus a couple of little towns along the way. You will find us at the Appaloosa Booth in the Horse Haven down at the Stampede Grounds. Make sure you stop by and say "Hi".

New members are always welcome. Many of our members do not own an Appaloosa, some don't own a horse at all but we don't care. It is nice to meet new people and everyone is welcome.
